DIFFERENT KIND OF SCHOOL
School & School Winter School is a different kind of place — one built on edutainment (education + entertainment). A place where, alongside a well-structured mix of play, fun, and cooking, children learn English, discover the world of art & design, and get a unique opportunity to explore the basics of modern programming and robotic engineering (building logical and mathematical intelligence).

BASIC INFORMATION ABOUT THE WINTER SCHOOL
For RoboTech, Art & Design, Little School, Preschool Winter Academy, and Minecraft Winter Academy:
- Duration: 1 week (5 days), 2 weeks (10 days), 3 weeks (15 days), or 4 weeks (20 days)
- Class hours: 40 hours total (40 × 60 min.)
- Days: Monday–Friday
- Drop-off: 7:30–9:00 AM
- Classes: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Pick-up: 4:00–5:30 PM
- Age: 4–16 years
- Groups: Formed by age and skill level; mixed groups possible
- Group size: 5–8 students
- Language: Taught simultaneously in B/H/S and English, depending on the group’s level
MORE ABOUT WINTER SCHOOL
Working with children combines outdoor activities — skating, sledding, snowballing, mountain excursions around Sarajevo, and visits to cultural institutions — with indoor activities (robotics, programming, film, art, edugaming, sports, literature/poetry, and culture), all centered around what genuinely interests each child. Attending for a minimum of 2 days is possible.
RoboTech Winter School (6–14)
At RoboTech, children explore 21st-century disciplines — the basics of information technology, programming, and robotics — with a focus on research, design, development, testing, and hands-on practice, both at school and at home.
The goal is to introduce children to the world of modern technology, broaden their horizons, and highlight the challenges, opportunities, and trends shaping the world around them. The program helps children take on challenges in science, engineering, and math — and realize they, too, can help build a better future. Through small groups, children naturally expand their English vocabulary through play, while grasping engineering concepts suited to their age.
Our mission: to give children an encouraging environment where they can discover, grow, and simply be who they are.
Art & Design Winter School (6–14)
Our Art & Design Winter School is a place where imagination fuels art, and learning, fun, and hands-on projects go hand in hand. Children discover some of the most memorable and innovative ways to express their inner world through artistic creation.
Guided by professional artists, children are motivated to imagine, design, create, and build — while also learning about art history, stylistic principles, materials, and creative process. The program covers the basics of fashion design, industrial design, graphic design, illustration, 3D design/sculpture, photography, and drawing, tailored to each child’s age.
The program culminates on the final day, when students showcase what they’ve learned over the 5- or 10-day school.
Little School Winter Program (6–14)
School & School is a different kind of school — a multidisciplinary space focused on discovering and developing children’s many forms of intelligence. Alongside play, fun, and cooking, children learn English, explore art & design, and get a first taste of programming and robotic engineering.
Students get hands-on with technology through computer science, visual programming (MIT Scratch EDU), and robotic engineering — building with LEGO Technics and LEGO Education WeDo and Boost.
Minecraft Winter Academy (6–14)
At the Minecraft Winter Academy, children explore 21st-century disciplines and the basics of programming, with a focus on research, design, development, testing, and hands-on practice — at school and, if they’d like, at home too.
Why Minecraft? Minecraft: Education Edition is built for collaboration — students solve problems in small groups or as a full class, learning to work and communicate together in a fun, engaging environment. It’s not just a game, but a genuine teaching tool that brings play-based and project-based learning into the classroom, where students learn naturally through observation and experimentation.
Preschool Winter Academy (4–6)
Our Preschool Winter Academy is a unique, small-group concept designed to awaken a lifelong love of learning — discovering the world and getting to know others who are different. Through small-group work, we focus on building emotional and social skills that help children adapt easily to change and new circumstances.
The world changes every day — so we aim to raise children who welcome change with curiosity, stay open to lifelong learning, and know how to navigate different challenges.

Excursions will be held once or twice a week, depending on location availability and weather. Parents will be notified in advance of any trips away from School & School.
Ski School (6–16)
School & School, in partnership with the “Snješko” ski school, is opening enrollment for students aged 6–16. Planned start: January 5, 2026.

- Departure to the mountain: 8:15 AM
- Lessons: 9:30 AM – 2:00 PM
- Return to School & School: departs mountain 2:00 PM, arrives by 3:00 PM
- Snack, activities & pick-up: 3:00–5:30 PM
- Age: 6–16 years
The “Snješko” ski school team includes 10 licensed ski instructors with degrees in sports and physical education. Students are grouped by age and skill level; mixed groups are possible.
