04. Talent Inventory & Coaching

Where free time becomes discovery time, and every child gets to find their own talent. A modern, two-shift day care program for pupils of lower elementary grades — combining Creative Mathematics, English, Art & Design, Robotics & Programming, and a Kids Cooking Lab.

Overview

Day Dreamer School at School & School is a different kind of day care — a place of multidisciplinary education focused on discovering and developing every child’s multiple intelligences. Beyond good structure for free time through play, fun, and cooking, children learn English (linguistic intelligence), explore the world of art & design (visual and musical intelligence), and build self-learning techniques for homework, repetition, and studying. They also get the unique opportunity to learn the basics of modern programming and robotic engineering (logical and mathematical intelligence) — through computer technology, visual programming with MIT Scratch EDU, and structural design with LEGO Technics and LEGO Education WeDo.

Because free time shouldn’t just be filled — it should be used to discover who your child really is.

AMBIENT & ATMOSPHERE

Interior design is a reflection of who we are and what we do. That’s why the location, space, interior decoration, and overall atmosphere of the school matter so much to us — they represent our informal, modern approach to learning. Atmosphere is the most important thing at our school: it’s a unique package of happiness, joy, positive energy, love, satisfaction, and genuine belief in what we do. All classrooms meet the highest educational and technological standards for modern, interactive teaching.

A DIFFERENT KIND OF SCHOOL

School & School is a different kind of school — a place of multidisciplinary education built around discovering and developing every child’s multiple intelligences, not a one-size-fits-all curriculum. In all our programs, learning, play, and real project work go hand in hand.

We built this program knowing exactly who walks through our doors — young children who need space to explore, play, create, and grow after their school day ends. So that’s precisely what we created: a school full of respect for young minds, where every child is challenged to learn, explore, and discover their own passions. And where their true talents get the chance to finally come out.

What Extended Stay Builds

The primary goal of extended stay at School & School is to teach children how to learn, explore, study, teach, and help others. It strongly shapes emotional development, self-esteem, trust in friends, cooperation, responsibility, curiosity, self-assessment, a healthy sense of morality, a sense of accomplishment, resourcefulness, agility, and the ability to accept mistakes — in themselves and in others.

What to Bring

Depending on the season, children should be dressed in layers, with thin socks and lightweight, breathable shoes (slippers work well). A spare shirt, trousers, and a pair of socks are recommended.

Nutrition

Food, hot and cold drinks are provided by the school, both during morning classes and in the afternoon. Our exclusive food supplier is Fress d.o.o. Sarajevo, a trusted supplier of healthy, high-quality, halal food. Children with special dietary requirements or needs may bring their own food.

Cooking Lab
The habits we build in childhood shape much of our life. That’s why it’s so important to learn proper eating habits, independent food preparation, and how to serve and refresh food from an early age.

Enrollment & Payment

– Reservation is confirmed by registering and paying the first module (1 month), either at the school or by bank transfer
– Monthly payment is due by the 10th of each month for the current month, via bank transfer or cash at the school
– Original textbooks, workbooks, and software licenses (Robotics & Programming) are not included in the price and are a one-time cost at the start of the school year — exact cost shared then
– Price includes: teaching materials, academic coaching, fun & art class, progress reports, flashcards, placement test, periodic and final tests, and the School & School Certificate
– Minimum 6 participants required to form a group; groups are small, up to a maximum of 10, so each student gets individual attention toward their own goals
– Parent discount: 5% per additional child (2+ children), and 5% per additional subject when enrolled in 2+ discounted programs
– Custom pricing applies for special programs, individual classes, or tuition tailored to a student’s specific needs

Evaluation & Progress Tracking

Every group and student has an individual record tracking attendance, quality of work, knowledge checks (quizzes), in-the-moment activity, and final monthly tests — used to analyze progress, work habits, and motivation. Teachers also observe and note recurring character traits, helping recognize and nurture each child’s natural talents. For children over 8, the MI8 test is used to compare observed talents against results from the teaching process.

Goals of the Teaching Process

  1. Give students the space and time to find their passion, while helping teachers recognize each student’s natural talents
  2. Discover, develop, and nurture those talents
  3. Provide the educational and pedagogical support students need to express themselves
  4. Build and maintain students’ self-confidence at the highest level

Public Presentation — ShowDown Expo

At the end of each semester (late December) and school year (mid-June), students present their work and knowledge at School & School’s ShowDown Expo — a public showcase where every student gets to confirm everything they’ve discovered and achieved.
