SCHOOL OF BUSINESS

Business isn’t taught from a textbook — it’s built from an idea. An entrepreneurship and leadership program that takes high school students from raw concept to their first real startup pitch.

Overview

School of Business at School & School is where a notebook full of ideas becomes a business plan. Over one school year, students learn to research a market, understand an audience, build a brand, price a product, and stand in front of a room and defend it.

The program is modular and moves in a straight line: Idea Generator, Brand Identity, Social Media, Marketing Mix, Modeling & Simulation, Leadership, and Finance & Startup Pitch.

Because entrepreneurship isn’t a subject you study — it’s a way of seeing. And the earlier a young person learns it, the more of the world becomes available to them.

Places are limited — so every student gets real time with their idea, and real feedback on it.

A DIFFERENT KIND OF SCHOOL

School & School Business is a pioneer in business education for high school students. In a program built from the ground up for young people, students discover their interpersonal talents, sharpen how they observe the world, unlock their creativity, and learn to spot the problems worth solving.

Beyond learning how modern business works, the goal is to build critical and entrepreneurial thinking. Through hands-on work, students move through market research, business planning, implementation, and control — and as they progress, their confidence grows with them, until they start seeing everyday life through a founder’s eyes, where an ordinary problem suddenly looks like an opening.

We believe children’s business is serious business. It’s never too early — and never too late — to learn how it works.

Think Tank

This program is built for students who have spent their education collecting ideas — a personal Think Tank of concepts, sketches, and what-ifs that together form an original portfolio worth developing. That container of ideas is where our business school begins.

The work is to detect, analyze, and research those ideas, then select the three that genuinely deserve time and attention. From there, students define who they’re actually building for — where that audience is, what they wear, what they listen to and watch, what they read — and study the competition and where the industry is heading.

The focus then shifts to marketing: mission and vision, distribution channels, pricing, packaging, brand standards, and advertising. The year ends with a presentation, where every student pitches the complete business plan for their first startup.
