This program teaches them how to film it, cut it, and put it in front of the world. Ages 15–17 / Onsite Enrollment: Sep & Feb Overview YouTube & Video Academy at School & School is where a phone in a teenager’s pocket becomes a production studio. Over one school year, students learn to shoot, edit, brand, publish, and grow — building a real channel with a real audience, from the first frame to the analytics dashboard. Video is the language young people already speak. This program teaches them to speak it well. Groups are limited to 6 students — so every project gets watched, critiqued, and made better. A DIFFERENT KIND OF SCHOOL In YouTube Academy classes, students discover their own personality, express creativity without limits, develop an entrepreneurial instinct, and start shaping a sense of purpose and direction. Video production is one of the most powerful tools a young person can hold. It turns imagination into something other people can watch. For many students, this program becomes the first real step in an academic and professional path that follows. Students learn to work with professional equipment — and just as importantly, how to get extraordinary results from the phone they already carry. They work in Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects, Movie Maker, and iMovie, building the stories in their heads into films the world can see. WHAT YOUR CHILD WILL DEVELOP – Cultural expression through storytelling and film– Technological competence — equipment, formats, and workflows– Digital competence — platforms, publishing, and analytics– Entrepreneurial competence — building and growing an audience– Communication in a foreign language SKILLS – Launching and branding a YouTube channel– Choosing and using the right recording equipment– Filming with professional gear and with a mobile phone– Video stabilization and working with voice– Editing in Adobe Premiere and After Effects– Music, sound design, and effects– Exporting and packaging a finished product– Channel vision, mission, and development strategy– Understanding a target audience and setting goals– Publishing, promotion, and reading YouTube Analytics High Pro (Ages 15–17) — Let’s Explore! An interdisciplinary program built to develop how students think creatively and how they express what they find. The starting point is always the student’s own inspiration — the story they want to tell, materialized as a short film, a feature, a tutorial, or something nobody has tried yet. Across the year, students get to know the world of modern video production: the gear, the editing software, the workflows. In the first year they learn how to start a channel and make their first home video, how to brand and customize it, what separates a good video from a bad one, how to set a channel’s vision and mission, how to build a development plan and strategy, how to understand who they’re actually making videos for, and how to set goals with an action plan to reach them. From there the focus shifts to craft: equipment selection, editing software, stabilization, working with voice, then cutting and polishing the video, layering music and sound effects, and exporting the final product. The last step is the real one — uploading, promoting, and analyzing performance through YouTube Analytics. Programme Structure Program Details Program YouTube & Video Academy — High Pro Age group 15–17 years Focus areas Video production, editing, channel branding, storytelling, audience growth, analytics Software Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects, Movie Maker, iMovie Teaching method Hands-on production, project-based work, channel building Weekly class 2 hours (120 min + 5–7 min break) Monthly hours 8 hours (4 × 120 min) Course duration 8.5 months (September – June) or 4.5 months (February – June) Winter break January 1 – January 31 Group size Maximum 6 students per group, sorted by age and level Language Mother tongue + English (level-dependent) For more information, contact the school in your city via e-mail, phone call or message us on Facebook or Instagram.
